Building science, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical all sit in-house. When a file needs three disciplines, you walk down the hall instead of subcontracting it out. The answer comes back the same week, not the next month.

What disciplines does Strata Engineering hire for?

Do engineers carry files independently?
Yes. Engineers scope the work, run the work, and put their seal on the final report. The client knows the engineer's name from the first site visit to the last page.
Does Strata Engineering hire in Kelowna as well as Burnaby?
Yes. Strata Engineering operates from a head office in Burnaby and a branch office on Pandosy Street in Kelowna. Roles are available at both locations.
What does the hiring process look like?
Four steps: send your details by email, a first conversation about your background and goals, a meeting with the engineers and project staff you would work alongside, then an offer if it is a fit on both sides.
Can I apply if there is no specific posting listed?
