Scoping call
A short call from the Kelowna branch to understand the building, the council's concerns, and any prior report. We confirm the scope and timeline before paperwork moves.
A locally staffed branch backed by the same multi-disciplined team that has served Lower Mainland strata corporations since 2012. Kelowna, West Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Summerland and the Southern Interior. Same engineers, same in-house seals, no Lower Mainland travel premium.
When an Okanagan council calls, a local engineer answers, walks the building, and writes the report. No file gets shipped to the coast and back. The Lower Mainland team is there for deeper specialist work, but the relationship stays here, in the valley.

The Okanagan is not a coastal climate. Dry summers, cold winters and wildfire smoke exposure reshape what an envelope report has to look for, so our local engineers scope for the buildings that actually stand here.

Depreciation reports, 2-5-10 warranty reviews, condition assessments, envelope consulting, structural, parkade, balconies, fenestration, electrical planning, energy & GHG.

If your strata has not commissioned a report before, an investigation or scoping call is usually the right first step. A qualified engineer will walk through what your building actually needs, before you commit to a scope.

Our branch office sits on Pandosy Street in Kelowna, central to the strata-dense neighbourhoods we serve most. On-site quickly for most routine scopes within the city. The Lower Mainland team is available for deeper specialist work, but the relationship and the file stay here.
How we work
A short call from the Kelowna branch to understand the building, the council's concerns, and any prior report. We confirm the scope and timeline before paperwork moves.
A local engineer walks the building, no Lower Mainland travel premium. Envelope, structural, mechanical, electrical and geotechnical eyes on the property as the scope requires.
Findings read against the local climate: dry summers, cold winter cycles, wildfire smoke exposure and the age and type of Okanagan strata stock, not a coastal copy-paste.
Full written report, handed over with a live council presentation. We answer questions in the room and stay available for follow-up as the council plans around it.
"The team at Strata Engineering have worked tirelessly on a number of projects I've assigned to them to deliver the best possible results. Their knowledge and professionalism have encouraged me to refer them to my peers and use them regularly."

If yours is not covered, ask us on the call. We'll answer before anyone sends a proposal.
